Electric Undergrounding Project
Xcel Energy’s Arapahoe Avenue Electric Undergrounding Project will convert approximately 4,700 feet of existing overhead electric distribution lines to new underground distribution lines along and near Arapahoe Avenue, between Foothills Parkway and 55th Street in Boulder, Colorado.

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, crews will not work Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024, through Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024.
During the week of Dec. 2, 2024, crews will work in the following areas:
- Arapahoe Avenue, between Foothills Parkway and 55th Street
- 48th Street, between Arapahoe Avenue and McKinley Drive
We are coordinating with Comcast’s communication line relocation project taking place along Arapahoe Avenue, between Foothills Parkway and 55th Street.
